• In simple they agress only on messages not code

MCP is a standard contract letting a client discover and use a server's tools, resources, and prompts — with or without an AI doing the driving.

Tools can reach the real world (fetch to a live API)

Tools are verbs (actions) , resources are nouns

• Tool = an action, chosen by the AI
• Resource = readable data, addressed by URI
